AHH!
I'm getting so frustrated with the trading card world. When I started (in 2006), the TCG world was relaxed and people constantly traded, and NOW!? Boy oh boy has it changed, and don't get me wrong, it's not just the members, it's the owners to. It dates back to when Autumn ran my all time favorite Disney TCG, Once Upon a Dream. I was jealous, the cards were amazing, the games were creative, the graphics adorable and the layouts, when she changed the layouts, I was always so amazed. I love Once Upon a Dreams so much that I have yet to take down the cards from Photo Bucket, Autumn was my insperation, until she closed. I still love her, and the TCG, however, once it closed, I was rather lonely. Then, the world began to change ( the TCG world ). Members hardly responded to my trade requests yet their logs were always updated, and when they responded it was months down the road.

Don't get me wrong, I own 3 TCGs and I understand the difficulties that lie behind the scenes. I realize that the coding, card making and game creating is not as easy as it appears, so I mean no disrespect to those that put a lot of hard word into their TCGs. However, 01 when you state that you want to make a trading card game, and then don't, that's rude. 02 when you post 40 TCG ideas and then don't go through with any of them, that's annoying and a dumb way to get attention. 03 when you own a TCG and do nothing but sit back and watch the members play, you look stupid. 04 If you own 4-5 different TCGs and update only one of them (and hardly do that much), close the TCG or put it up for adoption - members don't join just to see thier names on a list! So if you're going to open a TCG, DO SOMETHING!.

Things, although hard to believe, were about to get 50 times worse. I joined another Disney TCG, and everything was running smoothly, until I asked for help. Instead of help, I recieved a "I've showed you how to do it before, I don't understand why you're so confused" and an argument broke out. Now I'm sorry if you know who this owner is and if you're her best friend, honestly, at this point, I don't care! No owner, ever has the right to talk to a member like that - especially a memeber that's been there from the very beginning. Your members are your "kings and queens" you lose one, word gets out, and you lose more. After this, some of my information sounded similar to that of which was on her site ("if you trade in a double, you won't recieve a double") which had to be credited to her or removed. Which was just stupidly childish for anyone to read everything on a site just for a speck of resemblance. Things died down for awhile and still are rather dead, however, this is because I haven't said anything until the other day when I contacted said owner to let her know she spelt a characters name wrong (according to Disney.com, Disney DVD's & Disney merchandise), however, since WIKIPEDIA states other wise, I'm wrong. Wiki? Are you kidding me?! You're going to sit there, like a child, and tell me the creators of this character are lying to the public because WIKI says it's named other wise?!

*breaths deeply*, okay, I've let it out, I'm relaxed now.

Disclaimer I realize that the owner I've talked about for a good 5 minutes may be reading this, and I'm glad. I want to let you (the possible owner that's reading this) know that I've talked this all over with several members (at your TCG and with other TCGs) and they've agreed to what I've stated above and that you need to lighten up, or close down. Not all the ideas above came directly from me, but I'll take credit to keep the members identity hidden. If you feel you wish to comment on the above statements, please email me at enchanted[@]enchantedxforest.net - I'd love to hear from you.
